When hearing that Hurricane Ian was going to pass right on top of us we got a little worried. What happens if our venue gets destroyed, or all of our newly planted Italian cypress trees get ripped out of the ground. The thought was devastating but we kept being hopeful.
We decided that if the hurricane was going to destroy Andalusian Oaks then we needed to do a bridal shoot ASAP for one of our most recent brides. We instantly called up the bride and said...we have this great idea...what if you did your bridals in a hurricane?? There was a long pause and then..."I'm down, let's do it." Mind you, this was 12pm the day before the hurricane and she didn't even have a dress.. We rushed to get a tuxedo for her fiance and a dress for her and then quickly planned the shoot.
On the day of the shoot we told our bride to be on call in case things got insane with the winds and rain. At 2pm we started the shoot and thankfully the wind and rain weren't bad. The pictures were stunning and we didn't ruin any of our gear! Below are some of the images we captured...
